Here’s a new video interview I did with documentary filmmaker, actor and kickboxing champion
Ian Jacklin about his film “icurecancer”,
This a must see documentary about people who cured themselves of cancer after their doctors were unable to help them. It also features interviews with some of the top alternative doctors and experts like Dr. Bernardo, Dr. James Forsythe, Charlotte Gerson, Burton Goldberg, and more.
Ian is a fearless, passionate, no-holds-barred kind of guy.
Like me, he’s a man on a mission to share life saving information.
Needless to say, this was a really fun interview.

After trying a mostly plant-based diet to heal her breast cancer, which didn’t work, Elaine discovered The Ketogenic Diet. She modified it slightly and super-charged it with the same specific anti-cancer foods I ate. As a result she successfully healed her recurrent breast cancer in about two weeks.
There is some fascinating scientific research about the benefits of The Ketogenic Diet. This is a diet that is high in animal protein and fat, extremely low in carbs. Similar to Atkins, but with no dairy, and less carbs. It’s also similar to The Paleo Diet.
I’ve been following and communicating with Elaine for sometime and I am so excited to share this because it may be the answer some of you are looking for.
Enjoy!

Watch My Talk From Staying Alive NY 2012!
If you don’t know the back story, here it is:
Alive New York 2012 was promoted as “the world’s largest celebrity health event and awards show”.
I was invited to speak and was super excited about it, but it imploded a week before it was supposed to happen. Needless to say, there was a lot of controversy and everybody was pretty much freaking out…
One of the speakers, Wade Lightheart stepped in an organized a new event last minute with the other speakers who were already going to be in New York that weekend.
He found a space, put the word out, and we all came together and did a free event called Staying Alive New York.
The attendance was not huge and the space was certainly not glamorous, but it was an amazing event nonetheless. I’m so glad I was able to speak and meet so many awesome like-minded people there.
It’s a 40 minute talk plus 20 minutes of Q&A with the audience.
The talk is broken up into five parts. Here’s part one:

Healing Cancer World Summit 2012 is upon us!
For the second year in a row, Kevin Gianni is bringing together some of the top natural cancer doctors, researchers and survivors to share their expertise with the world.
Last year over 52,000 people attended this online event.
But I’m even more excited about it this year because not only will I be attending…
I’m on it!
That’s right. I am one of the natural survivors sharing my story this year at the summit!
How cool is that? I am thrilled beyond words.
And the best part is the entire event is FREE!
I learned a ton last year and I can tell you from experience that this is something you do not want to miss.
I seriously can’t believe my picture is included in this group of natural healing superstars. So cool!

Here’s the link to the event…

“My name is Linda, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in June of 2010 at age 47. I had the surgery and unfortunately I did the chemo. A few months into the chemo I started reading books and changed a lot of things. I finished all but one treatment - I did stop early though because of the things I had learned while reading and researching.
I changed my diet to completely vegan, with juicing, I started doing the flax oil and cottage cheese (Budwig Protocol), drinking Essiac Tea, and began seeing a naturopathic doctor who also has medical doctors at his clinic who deal with cancer, and changed my supplements to the best I could buy.
But the thing that I think saved my life was having all of my root canals removed…”

“A Matter of Life” is a new documentary film in the works that tells the exceptional story of Dr. David Servan-Schreiber, author of Anticancer: A New Way of Life, a book that documents his 20 year fight with terminal brain cancer and his extensive research into a science based anti-cancer diet and lifestyle.
The film features patients, caregivers, doctors and experts who are part of the growing movement that wants to go beyond drugs, and take an integrative approach to fighting cancer and staying healthy. Right up my alley!

I spent some time with the filmmakers earlier this year and it’s clear that they are passionate about being a catalyst for change in the arena of health and the healthcare industry.
I guess they liked what I had to say… cause I ended up in the movie!
Well at least in the trailer anyway, let’s hope I don’t end up on the cutting room floor. LOL!
Nutrition is such a critical part of health and disease prevention, but for the most part the medical industry is ignoring it.
This film could be a major step in raising awareness about nutrition and natural therapies. The world needs to know!
I am so thrilled and honored to be a part of this.
Check out the trailer!
