Tea up!
A key component in my chemo-free cancer fight was drinking copious amounts of herbal tea. Especially the ones with high anti-oxidant and immune boosting properties. Most days I would have a hot cup in the morning, iced tea with meals, and a hot cup before bed. I highly recommend you get the…Read more

We all know the arguments that being vegetarian is better for your health, the environment, and animals - - but in a carnivorous culture it can be hard to make the change. Graham Hill has a powerful pragmatic suggestion. Be a weekday vegetarian. This 4 minute video is excellent and neatly summarizes my post-cancer diet. Watch it!

Interesting article, further proof that technology and modern conveniences are making us sick, and that cancer is a product of a toxic environment: the processed food we eat, the chemical body care products we use, even the air we breathe…

Like I’ve said before, I am not a doctor or a scientist. I am a self-educated chemo-free cancer survivor and I often have people contact me who want to know more. So I am going to explain in the simplest terms why I did not do chemo…Read more

About to enjoy a glass of organic Chilean wine with my wife! “Natura” Cabernet Sauvignon produced by Emiliana Vineyards ($11).
Before I got cancer I ate whatever I wanted, which was a lot of processed and cooked food.
Micah and I both worked a lot and didn’t prepare fresh meals often. I ate bacon, eggs and toaster waffles for breakfast; and Super Sized fast food for lunch, which was usually a double cheeseburger, fries and a coke. Dinner was either microwaved, or something like grilled chicken breast, or bacon wrapped filets with a cooked vegetable side.
I drank soft drinks, and ate candy bars, chips; basically whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I have a high metabolism and don’t gain weight, so I assumed I had a free pass. Little did I know, my body was starving for nutrients… Read more

“Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise”
Benjamin Franklin was right. You need sleep. Sleep is when your body detoxes and heals itself.
We’ve all heard that most people need 6-8 hours of sleep per night, but you may need much more, like 7-10. If you’re getting less than 7 hours, you may be sleep deprived. Not getting enough sleep night after night leads to a “sleep deficit” that keeps growing. And with that sleep deficit comes a gradual degradation of your health…. Read more
In January of 2004, one month after my surgery, my wife Micah and I went to the cancer clinic for the first time. It didn’t go so well. I had already decided against chemotherapy after reading about the raw food diet in God’s Way To Ultimate Health. To my dismay, my decision was not well…Read more

Just like an oil change for your car, fasting is essential periodic maintenance for your body. You’ve got to do it. If you’re eating the Standard American Diet, full of processed food loaded with artificial ingredients; you’re putting toxins in your body faster than it can eliminate them. These unnatural chemical and mineral compounds are …Read more
In this video Tawkon introduces their new app, which monitors radiation levels emitted by cell phones. They show that the iPhone 4 isn’t the only smartphone with reduced signal if held improperly. As an Apple fan I’m glad to see an independent third party dispel the iPhone 4 “Antennagate” nonsense. But it’s not all smiles…Read more.

The Centers for Disease Control and the National Cancer Institute recommend you eat 5 servings of fruits and veggies per day. But let’s face it, that’s tough to do!
Juicing is the best way to extract massive amounts of nutrients from vegetables and absorb them quickly into your body; without having to sit down and…Read more
This post is about how I incorporated the Raw Vegan Diet into my anti-cancer strategy.
