I never gave much thought to the health effects of living in a modernized society until I was diagnosed with cancer.
That’s when I began to take a second look at everything.
Cancer is largely a product of the modern industrial age.
So every aspect of our modern age became suspect, including electricity.
When I started researching the effects that our modern electrically-powered world can have on our health, I discovered electropollution.

Hi Kristina You’re right it’s a tough habit to break.
Carbs are sugar and most of us are addicted to sugar. Grains aren’t that healthy to begin with and modern processing, refining, bleaching, enriching, etc. them makes them super bad for you. There are health advocates that recommend not eating grains ever. I’m not that hardcore, but I try to only eat flourless sprouted grain products like ezekiel bread and manna bread. They don’t spike your insulin like breads and pastas made from flour do. The main thing is finding your motivation. The bottom line is a diet rich in carbs will make you sick or fat, or both. Resisting temptation is not easy, but I would rather deprive myself and be healthy than indulge myself and be sick. Hope that helps!

In 1945 local water treatment facilities began to add sodium fluoride to our water supply. Ever wondered why? Well you’re about to find out. The first thing you should know is that the fluoride they put in our water is not a pharmaceutical grade additive. In case you hadn’t noticed, the dairy industry is spending millions of dollars every year to convince you that you need to drink milk. When I was a kid their slogan was, “Milk, it does a body good,” and for the last 17 years they’ve paid hundreds of celebrities to pose with a milk mustache … Read more

Although most folks think of corn as a vegetable, it’s actually a high starch grain. And you may be surprised to know that it has very little health benefit compared to other produce, which is why we don’t really eat much of it anymore in our house. King Corn is a independent documentary film about … Read more

Hi Moriah! Thank you very much! Am I afraid? No. My decision was a calculated risk based on the dismal success rates of chemo and cancer reoccurrence, and my research on survivors who used alternative therapies. I was more afraid of the lethal consequences of taking chemo, than not! There’s a post on my site that explains this in detail called Why I Didn’t Do Chemo.

Hi Lauren! I never get tire of hearing that! I went raw vegan and eliminated all man-made processed food and i focused on eating the healthiest food on the planet. I’ve written a lot about it at chrisbeatcancer.com. I think you’ll find a lot of answers there. You’re right, cancer is everywhere and 75% of all diseases are diet related. The better you eat now, the less likely you are to get sick in the future. Thanks so much for the followback! Feel free to message anytime!
