I never gave much thought to the health effects of living in a modernized society until I was diagnosed with cancer. That’s when I began to take a second look at everything.
Cancer is largely a product of the modern industrial age.So every aspect of our modern age became suspect, including electricity.
When I started researching the effects that our modern electrically-powered world can have on our health, I discovered electropollution.

insidemelookingout-deactivated2 asked: Hey Chris!

I have a question regarding carbs. I have insulin resistance and I KNOW that I need to lay low off of the carbs. It is literally like a drug to me. I don't eat them 3 meals a day and when I do I stay away from white flours. I just need help kicking the nasty habit I know really isn't good for my body.

Hi Kristina You’re right it’s a tough habit to break.

Carbs are sugar and most of us are addicted to sugar.  Grains aren’t that healthy to begin with and modern processing, refining, bleaching, enriching, etc. them makes them super bad for you.  There are health advocates that recommend not eating grains ever.  I’m not that hardcore, but I try to only eat flourless sprouted grain products like ezekiel bread and manna bread.  They don’t spike your insulin like breads and pastas made from flour do.  The main thing is finding your motivation.  The bottom line is a diet rich in carbs will make you sick or fat, or both.  Resisting temptation is not easy, but I would rather deprive myself and be healthy than indulge myself and be sick.  Hope that helps!

FLUORIDE IS POISON
In 1945 local water treatment facilities began to add sodium fluoride to our water supply. Ever wondered why?  Well you’re about to find out.  The first thing you should know is that the fluoride they put in our water is not a pharmaceutical grade additive.  Sodium Fluoride is an industrial waste byproduct from aluminum manufacturing. … Read more

SALT.  NOT THE MOVIE, THE MINERAL.
You’ve probably heard that a diet high in salt is unhealthy because it is a risk factor for Cardiovascular and Kidney Disease.   Processed foods have very high levels of salt.  And a diet high in salt actually leads to salt dependence by your body, which is why you crave salty foods; just like a smoker craves nicotine in cigarettes.
Here’s some good news.  Breaking a salt habit is not that hard and eating he right kind of salt, in moderation, can be very beneficial to your health… Read more

MUTANT MILK:  KICKING THE SACRED COW
In case you hadn’t noticed, the dairy industry is spending millions of dollars every year to convince you that you need to drink milk.  When I was a kid their slogan was, “Milk, it does a body good,” and for the last 17 years they’ve paid hundreds of celebrities to pose with a milk mustache … Read more

nutjobchaoticwonder asked: First of all, VERY inspirational story! I am so glad you are alive and thriving. It looks like you took care of yourself very well and I am beyond happy for you!!
Now, my question is this: Are you ever afraid of the possibly lethal consequences of not taking traditional, medical action for cancer?

Hi Moriah! Thank you very much!  Am I afraid? No.  My decision was a calculated risk based on the dismal success rates of chemo and cancer reoccurrence, and my research on survivors who used alternative therapies.  I was more afraid of the lethal consequences of taking chemo, than not!  There’s a post on my site that explains this in detail called Why I Didn’t Do Chemo.

msveganvoluptuous-deactivated20 asked: Your blog is super inspiring and interesting! You probably get tired of hearing that, huh? Ha. How exactly did you change your diet to help get rid of the cancer? Cancer is a really big deal to me. One of my best friends died of cancer & it seems like someone is always getting it in my family, so I'm really cautious about it. Anyway, I love your blog and have yet to check out your website, but I'll get on that soon. Thanks for the "follow," and for sharing! <3

Hi Lauren!  I never get tire of hearing that!  I went raw vegan and eliminated all man-made processed food and i focused on eating the healthiest food on the planet.  I’ve written a lot about it at chrisbeatcancer.com.  I think you’ll find a lot of answers there.  You’re right, cancer is everywhere and 75% of all diseases are diet related.  The better you eat now, the less likely you are to get sick in the future. Thanks so much for the followback!  Feel free to message anytime!
